Organization officials have a legal and moral responsibility to ensure that the workplace is free from unnecessary hazards.
Employers hold responsibility for understanding what is necessary to keep workers safe from harm. Conditions surrounding the
workplace must be secure for employees physical and mental health. As many organizations have implemented wellness program,
that focus on smoking cessation, weight control, stress management, early diagnosis of health problems, prevention and education
about life-style related and contagious illness. Wellness program can cut Employers health cost and lower absenteeism by
preventing health related problems.

they have a safe and friendly working environment. It does not only make the workers to be committed and focused in delivering
their duties but also contributes to their overall productivity. It is the responsibility of the human resource department to ensure
that it communicates to the organization authority to make sure that employees issues are raised based on their health and
wellbeing (DeCenzo et.al 2016). The H.R. ensures that the technicalities of health and safety compliance have been

massage therapies to their employees to improve their health and make sure that they feel relaxed at work and after work.
Question 3
Public health emergencies usually have adverse effects on both the economy and an organization itself. Current trends in
public health emergencies are Covid 19, which has harmed both employers, employees, a country, and the whole world. When
there is a break up of such kind of an emergency, the most important thing is to focus on the health and safety of employees as
well as that of the organization. During such types of outbreaks, there is a low business in most organizations. Therefore it is
not right to put employees on line to be prone to get infected on a scenario that we are dealing with a disease outbreak. (DeCenzo
et.al 2016). My plan would first ensure that I send operational employees on paid leave and remain with few employees from
every department. While sending employees on paid leave to ensure that they are safe, I would agree with the management that
they are given relief funds that will help them boost their finances in such hard times. I will, therefore, also come up with training
sessions that will ensure the remaining employees are trained vase on the new issue on control and management of the disease. It
would also be essential to provide employees with needed necessary materials to combat the outbreak, such as providing sanitizers
in all sections that they work. Provision of transportation of employees from the workplace to their home and back to prevent them
from getting into contact with other people that might put them at risk.
