There are no incentives to using this review process for cybersecurity. It is better taken if an industry gets something in return if the findings could be bad for them publicly. There has been many of cyber espionage and using this CRR is one way to ensure that nothing like that can slip through a corporation. The DHS can help protect against networks being attacked and this is their way to improve the process. There are many policies and acts in place to ensure that cybersecurity is implemented but this is one way that businesses can ensure that they are bridging the gaps before they fall victim to any real issues and be resilient if they have any issues.
